Overview of Role 


Our client is a world leader in foreign language support services providing translation services to multinational corporations and law firms. Their primary services include Document Translation, Localization Solutions, Validation, Foreign Filing, large-scale Foreign Language Document Review, as well as, other language-related services. 


They are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager. This person is responsible for acquiring new qualified leads through various methods of direct outreach and strategic marketing efforts. The Business Development Manager is also responsible for creating and managing a client portfolio through prospecting, client meetings and regular follow-up. 




o   Develop an effective understanding of their business and services 

o   Promote competitive value and expertise in the IP localization industry 

o   Researching and analyzing industries in order to identify new business opportunities 

o   Establishing and maintaining client relationships 

o   Effectively using CRM Software to maximize lead potential 

o   Work effectively as a team with operations to exceed client expectations 

o   Attending and participating in weekly department meetings 

o   Identifying and resolving client concerns 

o   Participate in industry conferences to network, acquire industry education, build new leads and sustain current client relationships 

o   Responsible for generating profitable sales that meets territory objectives through meeting and/or exceeding established sales targets 

o   Cultivate and build strong business relationships with key decision makers (paralegals,?lawyers) 

o   Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to closing 

o   Prospecting via phone, e-mail and other mediums; follow-up calls, emails 

o   Demonstrating and educating the value of the service to the buyer 

o   Obtain and provide territory information regarding market intelligence and penetration 

o   Accurate planning and reporting of all sales related metrics 

o   Generation of a qualified pipeline for new business and existing clients 

o   Complete required sales reporting and ensures accurate 90-day, 60-day and 30-day forecast updated weekly
