company. The successful candidate will have access to an office at our current Toronto, Montreal, or Mexico City locations and tools that will allow you to work from home when required (laptop, phone, G-suite).

About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Director to champion our A.I. platform and Professional Translation solutions. As an individual contributor to our team, you'll be the driving force in the sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation, engaging with
decision-makers from C-level executives to department managers.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic prospecting and prioritizing high-opportunity prospects in your assigned target markets.
  • Building and maintaining a solid pipeline of opportunities with a mix of near-term and longer-term close dates.
  • Managing the end-to-end sales cycle through active prospecting, handling inbound leads, securing effective deal closure, and proactively managing ongoing relationships with subscription clients.
  • Developing and nurturing relationships across assigned accounts and prospects, identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Ensuring high client satisfaction by offering guidance on best practices, serving as a bridge between clients and internal teams, and actively managing subscription client accounts to drive retention.
  • Documenting client communications and tracking sales metrics in HubSpot, aligning actions with corporate strategy and departmental priorities.
  • Demonstrate creative thinking, handle pressure, and consistently meet monthly sales targets.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven success in strategic selling to complex accounts is a must.
  • Full proficiency in professional-level English and French is required.
  • Subject matter expertise in legal, financial, or insurance industries is a valuable asset.
  • Strong track record of successfully managing all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop relationships with C-level executives and senior managers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and CRM software (HubSpot).
  • Active engagement on Social Media platforms (LinkedIn, blogs, and postings).
  • Verifiable track record of success in selling B2B SaaS solutions, a bonus.

Education
  • College diploma, university degree, or equivalent

Hours of Work
  • Our hours of operation are 9:00 am – 5:30 pm EST Monday to Friday.
