Global Director of Languages required for a creative agency in London (hybrid, you have to be based in the London area).
Our client is a global and leading production agency headquartered in London. They are actively looking for a driven Global Director of Languages based in the London area.
As a Global Director of Languages, you will be responsible for the operational leadership of the Languages and Localisation function globally. It is a strategic position in the company and is key to the smooth running of all language operations, covering new business initiatives, financial ownership and implementing new services and technology.
Key skills required:
Experience in the localisation industry managing international clients in multiple markets with multiple stakeholders.
Incredibly robust understanding of MT, translation, transcreation and cultural insights, including CAT tools, TMS platforms and terminology management.
Previous involvement in rolling out strategic actions to enable delivery efficiencies in the Localization industry.
Experience in managing a team of senior stakeholders ideally across different regions.
Hands on management style; able to pivot between the detail and high-level strategy.
Exceptional presentation / data visualisation skills building out strategic proposals for client’s senior stakeholders with meticulous attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Print and Digital production.
Solid experience of budgeting and forecasting.
SEO knowledge preferable but not mandatory.
