Business Development Outside Sales

A boutique LSP based in California is seeking a hungry salesperson to join their team.  This is fully remote opportunity and chance to grow with a tight knit organization.

Description of the Position: Business Development Representative – Home-Based

Responsible for developing and generating new customer accounts. The role includes prospecting, identifying, connecting, qualifying and engaging with new leads (including cold calls), as well as processing and closing sales. Must have the ability to identify and approach translation decision-makers. This position requires someone who can work from home.

Essential Job Duties:

Identify, connect, and engage with qualified prospects.
Develop strategies for identifying and generating new leads.
Conduct sales calls, including cold calling.
Launch and manage email sales campaigns.
Perform other sales and marketing functions as needed.
Use social media to drive new business leads
Establish long-term ongoing accounts.
Create and develop proposals for clients.

Experience:

Two years of sales and business-development experience, especially to regulated industries.
Translation industry experience desirable.
Experience with social media driven business development (LinkedIn, etc.
