Job Description

A growing LSP is currently seeking a qualified individual for a Business Development Manager position to join their translation and localization division. This division provides business solutions to many global clients. As one of top communications provider, our client works with clients from all over the world to provide reliable translation services to meet all language needs. Some of the organizations our client works with include Fortune 500 companies, multiple AmLaw Top 200 law firms, major professional sports leagues, and many award winning global firms. Our client is currently seeking a motivated and high achieving individual looking to find a rewarding career in the language services industry. This is a junior level sales role which would allow the candidate to work with several companies to provide language services. This is a unique opportunity for hardworking and motivated individuals and provides unlimited growth potential. This position will focus on the development of sales, lead & revenue generation, establishing client relationships, and ensuring the best possible service for our clients. We are committed to your personal growth and offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. This position is based in New York City with a base salary of up to $60k plus an aggressive commission structure.

A successful candidate should have 1 or more years of sales experience in the translation and localization industry.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, the candidate will be responsible for

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Establish professional and productive relationships with key personnel in client accounts. 
  • Manage sales across assigned vertical to reach and exceed sales target individually and as a team.
  • Creating and implementing sales strategies.
  • Meet assigned targets for revenue generation.

Required Experience

  • 1 or more years of relevant sales experience in the translation and localization industry.
  • Proven track record of consistent sales results.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
