APAC PM

Localization Project Manager required in the APAC region (ideally China).

Our client is an American, very well-established company headquartered in Europe. They specialise in providing localization and content solutions to a variety of sectors around the world.

This is a challenging opportunity for a successful candidate to work with one of the fastest growing companies in the localization industry.

This position is responsible for all aspects of interfacing with client companies, scheduling and costing projects, and also managing the overall project flow in each of the organisation’s translation centres. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of a project from beginning to end.

Please note that our client has no entity in Asia, therefore this position can be only done on a freelance basis. To be considered for this role, you would have to become self-employed so you will be able to invoice the company on a monthly basis.

Key skills required:

4+ years project management experience.

Working experience of the software localisation industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem solver with excellent planning and organizational skills

Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment.

Excellent financial awareness, enthusiastic and hardworking.

Knowledge of standard CAT packages (Trados).
